Camp KC (Kids Connection)
A one week lakeside summer camp for HIV/AIDS affected children ages 5-15.
In 2001 my life changed forever when I first volunteered to work with HIV/AIDS affected children and their families through WIAR (Women’s Intercommunity AIDS Resource). In 2013, with 13 years of experience, I was honored and humbled to have accepted the volunteer position of Camp Director for Camp KC (Kids Connection), Cascade AIDS Project’s lakeside summer camp for HIV/AIDS affected children ages 5-15.
Our one week camp experience is a unique component of our year long program for children and families, Kids Connection, which allows campers to enjoy arts & crafts, swimming, canoeing, music and more all while in the supportive community of trained and dedicated volunteers. I couldn't be more excited to invite you to become one of the valued members of our Camp Community who have made the “Connection”, be it donor, volunteer, program staff, camper or family.
